Terrific Broth (non animal origin)
  • Medium used with glycerol for the cultivation of recombinant strains of E.coli.
 
  • Packaging
Suspend 50.8 grams of the medium in 1 liter of distilled water. Mix well Mix well. Add 4 ml of glycerol and dissolve by heating with frequent agitation. Boil for one minute until complete dissolution. Dispense into appropriate containers and sterilize in autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
